At mustang valley sanctuary, veterans get the opportunity to work one on one with an unhandled mustang in Mustang Assisted Learning(MAL) It is life changing for the veteran and the mustang. Come out and show your very much needed support. Hay prices have gone up drastically and we are in need of Hay funds. Thank you for your support.
Candle light VigilWednesday October 6th 2021
Join us to acknowledge the lives that were lost
We will be having a candle light vigil at the sanctuary this Wednesday October 6th 2021 at 5pm EST. You can join us remotely if you are not near by or cant get out. Come be a voice for the voiceless. Just because they do not utter words does not mean the families are not grieving, sobbing, and screaming at the sight of their family members being shot .
This past weekend 44 horses were killed, shot(aka euthanized) by the BLM at the round up sites. Shot in front of family members. These horses were not given a chance. One was a week old foal that was said to be Dehydrated. One had a leg injury. These lives should be remembered, honored. We need to stand together as citizens of the United States. As tax payers and DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY on the part of our government for the actions of the Bureau of land Management . These horses are not yet branded and are therefore still covered under the 1971 Wild horse and burro act. It is not just about the horses. It is about our enviorment, our air, and water. This land is leased to ranchers to graze over 9 mllion head of cattle. There is less than .005 horses for each head of cattle. The horse is federally protected and the BLM is supposed to be the steward of our lands. They are destroying them. The bald eagle habitat, the fish habitat, the Elk habitat and the mustangs homes are all being destroyed under the nose of the American Public. Stand up for our environment before it is too late. Step one... Show up or join us for this very important vigil. Show the Government and the BLM that we will not be divided on this. We will stand firm and demand accountability for our lands, our air, water and our iconic Mustangs
